Anti-plagiarism

To ensure compliance with academic integrity, the Editorial Board of the journal is guided by the “Regulations on the system of detection and prevention of academic plagiarism at Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University” (2020), according to which manuscripts of articles submitted to the editorial offices of the university's scientific journals are subject to mandatory review for academic plagiarism (self-plagiarism) – at the stage of submitting work for consideration for publication.

The editorial board uses the licensed plagiarism check service – StrikePlagiarism.com.

StrikePlagiarism.com is an international plagiarism detection system developed by Plagiat.pl, operating since 2002. It supports over 30 languages, including Ukrainian, and is widely used by universities, academic institutions, and publishers across more than 40 countries. The system analyzes texts for similarity, including translated content, and generates an interactive report highlighting sources, similarity indices, and citations. StrikePlagiarism.com also features an AI-generated content detection module, integrates with platforms such as OJS, Moodle, Canvas, and other LMSs, and complies with GDPR regulations for personal data protection.

Suppose borrowings or duplications of one’s scientific results are found in the manuscript without proper referencing. In that case, the manuscript is returned to the author for revision with the possibility of re-submission for consideration.

A manuscript containing deliberate text distortions, alleged attempts to hide borrowings or other manifestations of academic plagiarism will be rejected.
